Clearly Clarinet Camp

Today, our students had the incredible opportunity to work with Marci Gurnow of The Dallas Symphony! Marci talked to all of our campers about her musical journey and answered lots of great questions. Our Advanced Clearly Clarinet Academy students also had the chance to play for her individually in a masterclass. Thank you to Buffet Crampon for sponsoring our camp and Ms. Gurnow’s appearance.

It was an absolute treat to have Dr. Michael Scheuerman from Southeastern Oklahoma State University here today to share his expertise with our musicians in a masterclass today! They learned so much and had lots of great questions. Students also enjoyed trying out new Buffet Crampon clarinets thanks to Brook Mays Music & H&H Music 🎶

Campers also attended a faculty recital which included a special duet by two of our Advanced Clearly Clarinet Academy alumni. Now college students, they have returned to camp as interns in a wonderful full circle moment. We’re so proud of them!
