The Forney Juneteenth Festival mission is to Edify, Equip & Encourage the Emancipated thru Entertainment, Education and Entrepreneurship.

The collaboration with the city was great and we Thank the Mayor Jason Roberson and City Council persons: Cecil Chambers, Sandi Primous and Zahnd Schlenskerthat were able to attend. A Key to the City of Forney was presented to Jimmy Malone for Reeves Henry; his Great Grand Father’s contribution to Forney including making the first car repair in 1899.

Went with Texas Grandparents raising Grandchildren to the State Capitol in Austin Texas to rally for funds for grandparents that do not receive funds because the children are not in Foster Care.

Alpha Alpha chapter was on the committee and participated in the community Juneteeth festival as well as chose HBCU scholarship winners to attend Louisiana and Texas HBCU's.
