💙💛 PSSA Girls Soccer 💛💙

Last week our girls soccer team competed against Young PS in the second round of the competition.

It was a hard fought match with the scores being levelled at 0-0 at the end. Due to corners also being equal, the match went to a penalty shoot out with the girls going down 3-1.

Thanks to Luke Byatte, who not only coached our girls team, but also our boys! We are grateful for your support.

💙💛 Book Week 💛💙

Today we held our Book Week dress up and parade. It was great to see so many students and staff dressed up as their favourite characters.

Thank you to all of our families who came to the parade - it was a great day!

💙💛 NSW PSSA Rugby Union 💛💙

This week Archie Mc and Garney K travelled to Mudgee to compete for the Riverina Union team in the NSW PSSA Championships.

The Riverina team won four of their games which is a fantastic effort. Their team continued to improve after each game, demonstrating exceptional team work and sportsmanship.

💙💛 Author Visit 💛💙

Today, all students enjoyed a visit from local author, Tracey Slinger.

Tracey shared her book, the story of "Boofhead - The Temora Train Dog". Students were also given activities that relate to the story.

How fortunate we are to have had Tracey visit!

Congratulations to Ryan H, Arla S, Bailey C and Jack G who have worked hard last year with Mrs Heycox and this year with Miss Annie to complete all 100 lessons!!!

💛💙 Bookworm Buddies 💙💛

Each day before classes begin, students have the opportunity to attend 'Bookworm Buddies' in the library.

This program promotes regular reading by giving attendees the chance to read aloud, be supported by older students and volunteers, and work towards their goal of reading every day.

Bookworm Buddies supports students in building consistent reading habits and strengthening their reading skills before the school day begins.
