Grade 3/4 Camp at Forest Edge C*C!

What an incredible fun-filled three days at Forest Edge C*C! Our Grade 3/4 students embraced every challenge, had plenty of laughs and created some wonderful memories along the way.

From soaring on the flying fox and conquering crate climbing to archery, low ropes, frisbee golf and bush walks, there was never a dull moment! We also got creative with bush art, worked together on hut building and learnt some new skills with camp cooking.

And when the sun went down, the fun continued with a games night and movie night!

We couldn't be prouder of our students. They were fantastic campmates — showing resilience, teamwork, courage, independence and plenty of good humour throughout the three days.

A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing staff and parents who helped make this camp possible. Your time, energy and support made such a difference and allowed our students to have an experience they will remember for years to come.

The Tecomatones blew us away at last night’s Parents Battle of the Bands! 🎶🎸
A huge well done to everyone involved for the time, effort and commitment that went into the performance.
Our incredible school community showed up in support, helping the Tecomatones win the Turn It Up Award for most tickets sold! 🎟️🏆

Despite some train delays, our Grade 6 students made their way into the city today for an engaging visit to the Immigration Museum. They explored the many different reasons people have chosen to make Australia their home and discovered the diverse and personal stories behind their journeys. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of Australia’s rich multicultural history and the experiences that have shaped our nation.

Supporting Our Teachers, Supporting Our Students.

Today, most of our staff spent the day in Melbourne, joining colleagues from public schools across Victoria to advocate for the future of education. While we would always prefer to be with our students, we also know that speaking up today is an investment in tomorrow.

Every child deserves to learn in a school that is well resourced, supported by passionate teachers and education support staff who have the time and capacity to do what they do best. Today’s action was about helping to make that vision a reality, not just for our students, but for every child in Victoria’s public education system.

To our Tecoma families, thank you for your flexibility, patience and unwavering support. We never take for granted the partnership we share with our community, and we’re grateful to have families who understand the importance of investing in strong public schools.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow and continuing the important work of learning, growing and thriving together.
