💃🕺 “Do this!” 😂

Three toddler friends having the best time showing their educators their dance moves and encouraging them to copy along! We love watching their confidence, friendships and personalities shine through as they boogie together. 🥰🎶

👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳 Little chefs in the making! 🍫🥥

Our Toddlers had the best time dressing up in their chef outfits and making delicious lamingtons with Chef Dessy to celebrate Lamington Day! 👩‍🍳✨

A little messy, a lot of fun and plenty of hands-on learning (and perhaps a little taste testing too! 😉)

There were smiles, giggles and plenty of gentle pats yesterday as Farmer Darryl brought the farm to us! 🐑🐐🐰

From curious cuddles to brave first touches, our children loved getting up close with the animals, building confidence, showing kindness, and learning about the wonderful creatures that share our world.

A huge thank you to Farmer Darryl for an unforgettable petting zoo experience! 🩵🐾

There’s something magical about watching little hands explore without limits. 🎨✨

This activity was all about the joy of messy play—squishing paint between tiny fingers, lifting colourful hands high with excitement, and swirling vibrant colours across the sensory tray to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind artwork.

Through experiences like this, our toddlers are developing sensory awareness, fine motor strength, creativity, and confidence, all while having so much fun. Sometimes the best learning happens when we embrace the mess! 💛

✨ Please join us in giving a warm Journey welcome to Kathy! ✨

Kathy has officially joined our Tatura team as a Permanent Educator, and we're so excited to have her as part of our Journey family. 💙

She loves creating positive learning experiences for children and is looking forward to getting to know all of our wonderful families. Did you know Kathy has been teaching piano for 9 years? 🎹🍓 She also loves strawberry ice cream and enjoys curling up with a good book!

If you see Kathy around the centre, be sure to say hello and make her feel at home. We know she'll be a wonderful addition to our team! 🌟

Learning through nature helps children build a deeper connection to the world's oldest living culture.

Using sticks, rocks and pine cones alongside hand-painted Aboriginal flag stones, we invited children to explore, create and connect with the natural environment. Experiences like these encourage curiosity, respect for Country, and an appreciation of the deep relationship Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the land.

The Rainbow Serpent came to life in our learning today! 🌈🐍

After enjoying a special story time together, the children created their own Rainbow Serpents using a variety of colourful crepe paper. Tearing, sticking and arranging the bright colours encouraged creativity, strengthened fine motor skills and sparked plenty of conversations along the way.

We love seeing stories inspire such meaningful hands-on learning. ❤️💛🖤

"I done it!" 🖤💛❤️

A proud little voice that says it all.

As part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, our children explored the colours of the Aboriginal Flag by painting their hands and creating meaningful handprints. Hearing the joyful words, "I done it!", was a beautiful reminder that learning is about confidence, discovery and celebrating every achievement.

Together, we're fostering respect, connection and an appreciation for the rich cultures and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples—one little handprint at a time.
