This beautiful exhibition of Georgina Hart original illustrations of The Most Magnificent Pot of Gold will be on display at the Grassland Art Gallery until the middle of next week. If you are visiting Tambo for the 150th year Tambo State School celebrations be sure to visit the Grassland Art Gallery on Friday before heading to school for the roll call ✅

Following this the exhibition will make its way to the Bushmans Artisans Gallery in Blackall for June and July🐝🤗

Did you know? Bees can visit up to 5,000 flowers in a single day 🌸

As they move between blooms they transfer pollen, helping plants produce seeds, fruits, and new growth. Around one third of the food we eat depends on pollinators like bees.

Without them, many plants wouldn’t be able to reproduce, and entire ecosystems would struggle to survive.

A little reminder to protect and care for the smallest creatures making the biggest difference 🍃✨

Georgina and I are so grateful for this opportunity to share the amazing original artwork of the illustrations from The Most Magnificent Pot of Gold to our local community and those who visit Tambo over the next 7 weeks!

This week Council is shining a spotlight on an important part of our local culture, the Grassland Art Gallery in Tambo.

This purpose-built space is a true asset to the region, offering a welcoming and contemporary environment for visitors to experience art, creativity and community connection.

Years on from it's construction, the Gallery continues to attract strong interest, with more than 130 visitors through the doors in February alone - highlighting its growing popularity as a cultural hub in the region. The latest exhibition “Cassie: The Art She Gave Us” has been a standout during that time, made possible through the generous loan of artworks from the community. Be sure to visit soon before it closes.

With a rotating program of exhibitions, workshops and events, the Gallery continues to play a key role in celebrating and supporting arts and culture across the region.
