THIS IS THE 48TH IN A SERIES OF POSTINGS, COVERING NAVY CADET UNITS, WHICH WE FOLLOW AROUND THE WORLD, FEATURING TODAY, THE JAPANESE SEA CADET CORPS UNIT, TS FUKUOKA, WHICH IS LOCATED IN SOUTHWESTERN JAPAN, ON THE NORTHERN SHORE OF KYUSHU, ALONG HAKATA BAY, WEST OF KITAKYUSHU AND NORTHERWEST OF KUMAMOTO, JAPAN.

That’s a wrap for AC Ella, who has had an amazing two week voyage in the Sea Cadet yacht T.S. Sir Stellios along the South West Coast of Cornwall.

During this epic adventure AC Ella has taken part in the Fowey Regatta, during which they came third on the Fowey to Falmouth leg. AC Ella has also successfully gained Offshore Watch Leader whilst onboard.

Watch Leader is the highest level in the Sea Cadets’ Offshore Training Syllabus. Cadets working towards this certification are assessed on their Leadership, Navigation and Seamanship, and responsibility to managing safety checks and acting dynamically to changing weather and sea conditions.
