Our Year 5/6 Market Day preparation is buzzing with excitement, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit!

For weeks, our students have been preparing ferociously — making, baking, designing and creating everything from squishies, bubble tea, cupcakes and key rings to so much more.

Along the way, they haven’t just been creating products, they’ve been developing valuable real-world skills including managing a budget, understanding profit and loss, calculating opportunity cost and learning the importance of cooperation and teamwork.

Come along to our Market Day, June 18th from 12:15pm-1:30pm.

After months of preparation, reflection and learning, our Year 4 students joyfully celebrated their First Eucharist this weekend. It was a beautiful and sacred occasion as they received the Body of Christ for the very first time, surrounded by their families, teachers and parish community.

We are so proud of each student for the reverence, commitment and faith they have shown throughout this special journey. Thank you to our staff, families and parish for supporting and guiding our students every step of the way. May this be the beginning of a lifelong connection with faith, love and community. ✨🙏

This week our staff participated in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, coming together to support such a worthy cause. Through raising money, we hope that in some small way we can make a difference for all those affected by cancer.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures in our lives. We thank you for your endless love, support, kindness and nurturing care that never wavers. Today is a day to reflect on and cherish all that you do and all that you have given to us.
We also remember and honour the mums who are no longer with us. May they continue to watch over us from heaven and remain forever in our hearts.

Today we mark ANZAC Day with reflection and respect.

Our Year 3 students visited the memorial plaque in our school garden, where they took a quiet moment to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served. They listened thoughtfully and showed great respect as we spoke about the importance of this day in our history.

In the community kitchen students rolled up their sleeves to make traditional ANZAC biscuits. As they mixed, measured, and baked, they also learned about the history behind these biscuits and their connection to soldiers and families during wartime.

On Monday at 10:45am all students will gather in Pioneers Hall for a liturgy to remember those who served. Lest we forget.
