“If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.” (Numbers 12:6)

Dreams were never a side show in Scripture. They were one of God’s clearest ways of speaking — bringing instruction, warning, comfort and calling.

The invitation hasn’t changed. What most of us are missing isn’t the dream. It’s the discernment to understand it His way.

Save this one. Come back to it the next time you’re tempted to brush a dream off as “just a dream”.

How do I know if a dream is from God?
What you really want isn’t another symbol to look up. It’s to wake up and simply know — without the dread, without a week of second-guessing yourself.

Right now that uncertainty costs you. A dream unsettles you, you can’t tell if it was Him or just you, and the fear of getting it wrong quietly talks you out of listening at all.

🌳 Trees in the Language of God 🌳

Throughout Scripture, God often uses trees as symbols to communicate spiritual truth. One of the clearest examples is the phrase “tree of life.”

📖 In Proverbs, the “tree of life” becomes an idiom for whatever brings, sustains, restores, and nourishes life:

🌿 Wisdom – “She is a tree of life…” (Prov. 3:18)

🍎 Righteous fruit – “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life…” (Prov. 11:30)

🌱 A fulfilled longing – “A desire fulfilled is a tree of life…” (Prov. 13:12)

🗣️ A gentle tongue – “A gentle tongue is a tree of life…” (Prov. 15:4)

✨ God often speaks through symbols and idioms. A tree in a dream or vision may represent life, wisdom, growth, fruitfulness, healing, righteousness, or restoration—the context determines its meaning.

✨ God’s language is symbolic.

🌊 Throughout the Bible, God uses creation to communicate spiritual truth. Water, trees, mountains, animals, fire, light, and countless other symbols reveal deeper realities of His kingdom.

📖 Learning the language of symbols is one of the greatest keys to accurate biblical dream interpretation.

Rather than relying on guesswork, you’ll begin to recognise the patterns God has woven throughout Scripture.
