Buderim Community Kindergarten

Colin and Leonie, volunteers from Coolum & North Shore Coast Care, a not-for-profit group dedicated to protecting our local flora and fauna, visited the children to share more about the important work they do to help protect turtles and their nests during turtle season.

The children learnt about the different ways the group supports our local turtles and enjoyed discovering some amazing and fascinating facts about these incredible creatures. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn more about the importance of caring for our local environment and the special wildlife that calls our coastline home.

The kindy recently hosted a Professional Development morning for local kindy teachers and educators with local Music Therapist, Stef Patch -Everington of Soundtrack Music Therapy. Such an amazing morning connecting through music and understanding how music supports children’s social and emotional wellbeing 🎶❤️ Thank you Stef!

Pop down to Bunnings Maroochydore tomorrow and support our kindy! 🌭

Our wonderful kindergarten families will be running the sausage sizzle from 8am–4pm, with every dollar raised going straight back into supporting our beautiful kindergarten and the children who learn and play there.

Children and families came together last week to acknowledge Anzac Day through stories, arts, cooking, and by participating in the Anzac Day March, organised by Buderim’s wonderful community organisation, Buderim War Memorial Community Association BWMCA. We take this time to thank all those who have served our country, as well as those who continue to serve today. Lest we forget.
