So we find ourselves at the end of our sailing journey - Mooloolaba to Thailand.

In attempting to think of words to describe how we feel at this time, I found a passage which say it all and I’ve abbreviated as follows. Hopefully it’s not too corny, but here goes 🌝🌈🥂

‘ .. chasing dreams is a deeply personal and transformative journey. It's about envisioning a dream that deviates from the status quo and reaching beyond the boundaries of convention and comfort. It's about summoning the courage to pursue what sets your soul on fire, even in the face of doubt, uncertainty, and adversity..’

.’One of the defining characteristics of chasing dreams is its inherent unpredictability. The path is seldom straight or smooth… it demands resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace failure as part of the learning process. It's in these moments of challenge and setback that we discover the depth of our resolve and strength..’

It's in the exhilarating rush of achievement, those rare and fleeting moments when the stars align and our dreams materialize into reality, that we realize what’s possible..’

And having said this, it’s over and out from Sailing Nika.

Nika receiving some TLC in preparation for listing for sale. Paul’s been hard at it in the heat 🥵🥵🥵 with his trusty offsider Ahmed (thank goodness for Ahmed otherwise poor Paul would have expired in the heat by now). Nika is looking beautiful!🤩

Off season Koh Muk.. a stark contrast to our visit 3 months ago when it was packed with boats and tourists. No food stalls on the beach, banana lounges and umbrellas all gone. No beach sweeping of the sand.. practically deserted apart from our lunch venue.. we wonder how they survive in the low season 🫤
