🌱 There’s something special about learning outdoors at Red Rock Christian College.
Our students spend time in the garden getting their hands dirty as they plant, water, and care for herbs, flowers, and vegetables. It’s a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and see the results of their care and effort over time.

Primary Students Raise Funds for Uganda
A huge thank you to our wonderful Red Rock community for your support of our Hot Chocolate for Uganda fundraiser.
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise valuable funds to purchase sporting equipment for the students at the Yes and Amen Education Centre in Uganda. It was wonderful to see our community come together to support this important cause.
A special thank you must also go to our amazing student volunteers who helped prepare, organise and serve the hot chocolates throughout the day. Your willingness to serve others, your enthusiasm and your hard work were outstanding. You demonstrated what it means to put your faith into action and make a difference in the lives of others.
Thank you again to everyone who purchased a hot chocolate, donated, or helped make the day a success. Together, we are helping to create opportunities and bring joy to students across the world.

Immigration Museum - Year 6
On Tuesday, the Grade 6 students travelled by bus to the Immigration Museum in Melbourne. During their visit, they participated in an engaging presentation titled Many Stories, where they explored the history of Australian immigration. Students examined a range of museum objects, artefacts, and historical documents to uncover the diverse stories of migrants and gain an understanding of the challenges many immigrants have faced.
Working collaboratively in small groups, they investigated different stories and shared their findings with the class. Students then explored the museum galleries, further enriching their learning and deepening their understanding of Australia's multicultural history.
"I enjoyed learning about people and their stories." – Olivia
"I enjoyed the interesting artefacts and activities in the rooms, such as the dictation test. Migrants had to write down a lot of words and get them right." – Etienne
"I learnt that some people walked to different countries, like Bul and his family, and then got on a boat to Australia." – Eden
"I found the dictation test interesting. It is a fifty-word test where you have to write down all the words spoken correctly. It used to be a requirement of the White Australia Policy." – Samuel

Students have been enjoying participating in Ultimate Frisbee during their PE lessons. This fast-paced and engaging sport has provided opportunities for students to develop their teamwork, communication, and cooperation skills while having fun with their classmates.
Throughout the activities, students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, encouraged one another, and worked together to achieve common goals. Ultimate Frisbee has helped build confidence, improve fitness, and strengthen positive relationships among peers.
It has been wonderful to see students actively engaged, supporting each other, and embracing the values of teamwork and respect both on and off the field.
