Our Oldest Student on the day, Mr Toon and Our Youngest on the day, Miss Everleigh. What a special moment for each of them.
🎉 WHAT A DAY! 150 YEARS OF STANWELL STATE SCHOOL!🎉
Wow!! What an absolutely incredible day we had celebrating 150 years of our wonderful little school!** ❤️
A massive **THANK YOU** to everyone who came along to celebrate this very special milestone with us. It was amazing to see so many past and present students, families, staff and community members walk back through the school gates, reconnect with old friends, share stories and reminisce about their time at Stanwell State School.
A celebration like this doesn’t happen without an enormous amount of work behind the scenes, so we would also like to say a huge thank you to our 150th Committee, School P&C, student council and all of our wonderful volunteers who gave their time in the lead-up, during setup, throughout the day and during pack-up. Your help, support and willingness to jump in wherever needed made the day possible.
Thank you also to everyone who contributed in so many different ways — through donations, memorabilia, photographs, stories, displays, sponsorship, equipment, food, services and support. Every contribution helped bring our school's history to life and make the celebration what it was.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who simply came along and celebrated with us. Seeing the school grounds filled with people, laughter, memories and generations of the Stanwell community was incredibly special.
150 years is an amazing milestone for a little country school, and what a wonderful way to celebrate it! 🥰
We hope you enjoyed the day, caught up with some familiar faces and went home with some special memories.
❤️
Thank you for being part of Stanwell State School's 150-year history. Here's to the memories made, the friendships formed and the generations still to come! 🎉
