What an incredible day! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the inaugural Queensland Student Dermatology Conference 2026

Seeing over 100 medical students come together with consultant dermatologists, registrars, PHOs, researchers and industry partners made this event truly special. We hope everyone enjoyed the hands-on workshops in dermoscopy, skin biopsies & suturing, and laser and energy-based devices, while also gaining valuable insights into dermatology careers and research.
This conference would not have been possible without our incredible speakers, workshop facilitators, sponsors, volunteers, and every attendee who supported this event. Thank you for helping make history with Queensland‘s first student dermatology conference.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Prof. Kiarash Khosrotehrani, Prof. Mark Smithers, Dr. Nerilee Wall, Dr. Sam Kahler, Dr. Alyssa Susanto, Dr. Ed Nam, Dr. Jessica Gartside, Dr. Kathleen Hogan, and Dr. Snehlata Kumari for generously sharing their expertise and inspiring the next generation of medical students interested in dermatology.

We also want to thank our friends at UQ Dermatology Society for making this collaboration such a rewarding experience. We learned so much throughout the planning process, and we’re incredibly grateful to have worked alongside such a passionate team.
We hope everyone left feeling inspired, made new connections, and discovered something new about dermatology.

Here‘s to many more conferences in the future! 🩺✨
