Schulte’s has been making their iconic Mettwurst sausages for over 70 years - supplying major supermarkets and premium butchers around Australia.
But in summer, Queensland humidity was slowing things down.

Project #8 : Humidity Control in Pharma Production
When you're working with ultra-fine powders, even a little moisture can cause big problems.
One of our pharmaceutical clients in QLD was facing serious production issues - powders were absorbing moisture, becoming sticky, clogging machines, and slowing everything down. Not ideal when you're on tight delivery deadlines!

From Re**er Container to Climate-Controlled Storage Room
We’re transforming this former refrigerated (re**er) container into a fully customised humidity-controlled storage space for one of our clients.
Why? They needed a solution to protect valuable stored items long-term with stable temperature and humidity control to prevent mould and deterioration.
This tidy install features:
~ Checker plate aluminium flooring – strong, safe and easy to clean
~ TFT dehumidifiers and air conditioning – installed for maximum performance~
~️ A neat rear partition that houses the HVAC and dehumidification system separately

Project #7: Seed Storage for Global Mining
How do you protect native seeds for land rehab in one of the most remote parts of the country?
When global mining company South32 needed a smart solution for storing biodiversity-critical seeds on Groote Eylandt (NT), they partnered with Humiscope to make it happen.
The result? We converted two shipping containers into fully insulated, climate-controlled rooms built at our Gold Coast facility and delivered ready to run onsite. Each unit includes:
~ Commercial-grade refrigeration from the awesome Koldpak
~ Bespoke Desiccant dehumidifiers manufacture by our long term suppliers, TFT Dry Air Solutions
~ Internal lighting, shelving, and custom controls
The containers hold a steady 4°C and 30% RH, keeping seeds viable for future land regeneration.
