RoletoReal Reignite your life purpose. Switch off the noise. Reawaken your imagination. Harness your energy. Life is short. Make time to save time. I believe in connection.

I believe that authenticity is the key to leading a fulfilled life. I am a creative, positive spirited and enthusiastic learner of life, people and family. I come from a drama, musical, media and psychology background. I believe I have found the perfect area of expertise that brings together my passions of story telling, people, emotional wellbeing and creativity. I believe that we always have the

answers within us and I love being able to give people the opportunity to discover their own 'Aha' moments. We cannot be authentic if we are not connected within ourselves and with others. We do not have to feel isolated or alone and my belief is that everyone deserves to feel loved, listened to and nurtured. I also believe that this is something we fear and tend to actively avoid. Relationships are key and I believe that we are intrinsically cooperative and want to belong but that life experiences push us away from this natural instinct. I believe in taking care of whole person and that means nourishment in many varied and creative ways. I believe in laughter, spontaneous drives and beautiful gifts for all the senses. I believe the joy of life comes when we least expect it, doing something that is not planned, and trying a new approach. When we are open, we see more clearly, we feel more sensitively, hear more acutely and know more intuitively. I believe in choosing to be conscious and present. I believe in filling your soul cup and doing something small but meaningful for yourself each day. I believe in candles and burning oils and the smell of a freshly brewed coffee in the morning. I believe in breakfast in bed and dinner parties with friends and Friday night family movie nights. I believe in the chaos and playfulness of children and that we learn just as much from them as they learn from us. I believe in mindful parenting and watching them while they play. They teach you a lot when they play about what they are processing in their little but very important lives. I believe that each day can feel eternally long with kids but that the years fly by. I believe in life balance. There is always a compromise, it is working out what yours is. I believe you can have everything, just not at the same time! I believe in music, singing at the top of my lungs in my car when driving alone and dancing around the house for no reason at all with the music pumping. I believe in rhythm, and melody and harmony. I believe in the rhythm of life but that sometimes we need to adjust our own rhythm, walk to our own beat and whistle our own tune. I believe when I am creative I feel most alive. I believe a long and rigorous walk always clears the mind. I believe that action shifts energy faster than simply talking. Intellectualising stays contained, being in your body through movement, keeps you spontaneous and allows new ideas to emerge, blocks to shift and roles to develop and blossom creatively. I believe in challenging our comfort zone and putting ourselves in new situations. I believe in feeling. By feeling we are self aware and that can lead to making a new choice. I believe in feeling the fear and doing it anyway. I believe in empathy and that by walking in another person's shoes we learn new perspectives, develop a deeper level of empathy and compassion for others and for ourselves. I believe that everyone deserves to be what they would love to be and that when you value yourself you will ultimately find your true path. I believe that time is precious, life is short and we must use our energy wisely.

Singing with my Tibetan singing bowl is a private thing that I do for my own healing practice. It's quite personal and I'm not someone who feels comfortable expressing myself in this way out in the world. But it feels important at the moment with the world the way it is. So here I am. This is for anyone who could do with a healing hug 🫂 From my soul to yours ❤️🙌 Feel free to share with anyone you know who might need this too 🥰✨️

And finally, Totally Not Normal Trivia simply wouldn’t be complete without a man to ti**le the ivories, serenade us with his golden voice, and be my parachute as I launch myself headfirst into the mayhem of the night.

Introducing the irrepressible Scott Cameron. He’s fast with his fingers, even faster with his wit, and never far from a perfectly timed comeback. With Scott in the mix, this night is shaping up to be deliciously naughty, gloriously unpredictable, and packed with banter.

I have a feeling he’ll keep me firmly on my toes all night long and I can’t wait.

Scott is a writer, singer and composer for stage and screen, and he distils his knowledge into bite-sized brain-nuggets for his YouTube channel, Inside Musicals. Beyond music, he is a shameless cat person, and possesses an unhinged obsession with orchids, with about 350 scattered around his house and garden ... that is, 350 orchids, not 350 cats. We all have our kinks, don't judge!

We all need a bit of magic in our life! So it is a true joy to share the stage with Anthony De Masi, someone I have known and respected for many years. He is a master of intrigue, wonder, and comedy, with more than 30 years of professional experience under his hat (and perhaps even a rabbit), he has captivated audiences around the globe.

A celebrated close-up and stage magician, Anthony spent 10 years as the resident magician on Channel Nine’s Kids’ WB and has also worked as a magic consultant across film, television, and theatre. His impressive career has seen him wow VIP guests for global brands including Coca-Cola, Porsche, and Tiffany & Co. and entertain the likes of Tim Burton, David Beckham, Gene Simmons, Al Gore, and Australian Prime Ministers.

A two-time Guinness World Record holder for the longest-running magic show, did somebody say a massive 85 hrs of non- stop magic? Anthony combines world-class skill with warmth, humour, and an infectious sense of fun. He is also the founder of the Magic School of Confidence, as a testament to his lifelong passion for magic and desire to share it with others.

Now he brings his special touch of magic to the Newham Mechanics Institute.

I am so thrilled that our event has SOLD OUT in just one week, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Totally Not Normal Trivia will be just that. Totally. Not. Normal.

I love that people have embraced it. We're all hungry for joy, a little positive mayhem, and opportunities to come together in ways that feel real, spontaneous, and ridiculously fun.

I've been working professionally in the arts since 1994. While studying Psychology, I spent my weekends performing in cabaret shows and theatre restaurants. Then I went on the journey to become a "serious actor." But I never forgot what those early years taught me: how to play, trust my instincts, and connect with an audience.

That's what I love most about cabaret. It breaks the fourth wall and creates authentic, thrilling moments between performer and audience.

And I can tell you now—I won't be letting anyone off the hook this time either. 😉

I believe that's exactly what we need right now.

A chance to feel alive.

A chance to remember we're not alone in the chaos.

Cabaret asks us to be courageous, a little vulnerable, and ready for the unexpected. It invites us into a shared experience where anything might happen.

I feel incredibly lucky to have a community willing to dive in and be part of it. As a performer and therapist, I know how important it is to gather when life feels overwhelming. To laugh together, celebrate talented artists, and leave the weight of the world at the door for a little while.

Or perhaps bring it with us and watch it transform into something lighter.

We'll laugh. We may sing. We may dance. And trust me, my character will be encouraging all of that allllll night long. 💃✨

Because that's the magic of cabaret.

And just wait until you see how the marshmallows are used... 😏🔥

Thank you to everyone who grabbed a ticket. I can't wait to share this night with you.❤️🎭

It's going to be hilarious, mischievous, wonderfully unexpected, and an absolute hoot.

IT’S SHOW TIME ✨

I’m excited (and did someone say a little nervous) because it’s been a while since I’ve created an event of my own, especially something this new, playful, and gloriously unpredictable. But I'm ready baby!

Totally Not Normal Trivia was born from one simple idea: create a night where audiences and artists collide a little more closely. A night that feels joyful, surprising, interactive, hilarious, and just a tiny bit chaotic in the best possible way.

The kind of night where people laugh loudly, celebrate local talent, discover hidden sides of themselves and their teammates, and forget about the world for a few hours.

And honestly? I couldn’t ask for better humans to create it with. I get to perform alongside talented local artists , Hamish Fletcher & Scott Cameron.

Expect:
Trivia with a twist
Live performance & music
Carnivale-cabaret chaos
Big laughs & ridiculous surprises
Community vibes & unexpected talent

Dust off the sequins, gather your crew, and prepare for an absolute BALL.

Tickets are limited — link in comments below.

A beautiful book has been launched into the world ✨️

It is a privilege to be amongst many wonderful contributing psychodramatists, including some of my fellow trainees, all who have shared their heartful stories of using the magical power of the role reversal technique in everyday situations to effect positive change.

As it says on the back of this book, Psychodrama is training the imagination, a truly simple way of restoring harmony and peace in a world of unrest and tension. To reverse roles is to step into the shoes of the other and see the world through their eyes.

and you have created a book that celebrates, not the theoretical understanding of a method, but the lived experience of authentic human relatedness and interconnectedness. It is deeply moving 💕
