Townsville South State School is a small school, with a country feel, situated in the picturesque suburb of South Townsville, close to the CBD of Townsville. We are committed to our school vision of 'Quality Education in a Caring and Sustainable Environment', and we have a wonderful opportunity in the primary years of schooling to develop children's skills, knowledge, understandings and attitudes to learning both within a school context and beyond. A strong partnership between the home and the school is vital for a successful and positive educational journey for children and I welcome your involvement at our school. The Townsville South State School community is extremely proud of our school's history and that it is the second oldest state school in this rapidly advancing and dynamic city.
