Hey LGT Team! π₯
Recently we've had a lot of enquiries about tutoring for university subjects... π²
So if you're really brave and would be interested in tutoring for uni subjects you've done, just chuck those specific subjects with their codes (and the University at which they were completed) in the description on your profile and go one step closer to practically being a uni lecturer! πͺ
Thanks everyone and keep pumping those brains!!! π§
P.S. So we can see that you've updated your profile to include a uni subject, please then text your friendly Assistant General Manager (John) on
0422 993 760
so we can add the new info to your profile in the tutor map! π

Hey everyone Leo the owner of LGT Tutoring here!
There's an important point I'd like to address, in particular for year 12 students going into this final year.
Alongside the team at LGT, I've been working away speaking with hundreds of students/parents a month and have noticed a pattern which inevitably leads to academic failure.
I want to share this with you so you can avoid it at all costs.
It goes something like this:
Didnβt focus during class --> You now need to go over the work yourself to understand it --> You didnβt use your study/free periods to do this --> You tell yourself youβll do it when you get home --> You procrastinate at home --> Come to class the next day and a repeat of yesterday occurs --> You now have 2 topics you don't understand --> Didnβt use your free periods again --> Did some study at home but not enough to catch up --> You come to class again --> Don't understand the new topic because the last two topics relate to this third one --> You use your free period but don't catch up completely --> You have so much work to do that you don't do any that night and instead convince yourself you'll do it on the weekend --> Don't manage to completely catch up on the weekend.
Rinse and repeat.
Down you go.
On your way to forever being "behind".
If you want any chance at getting the ATAR you want, you need to avoid this at all cost. The way you do it is very simple:
IDENTIFY WHERE IT BEGINS.
If we look above, we can see it began with:
Te lack of focus during class.
How do you avoid this?
Next time you head to class, don't sit with friends that distract you, put your phone on airplane mode, completely zero in on what the teacher is saying, ask questions and participate in discussions.
You're still early in the year and you have time to turn things around so I ask that you please do...
Before it's too late.
