🐮Mini munchers have a farm Ei.. Ei…..OO🐮

There were smiles all around last week as some of our children visited Mini Munchers Petting Zoo with our friends from Bupa🐑

🐓We fed the animals, shared babychinos and decorated cookies to take home 🐴

These excursions are a wonderful way to strengthen community connections while supporting local businesses that make our community so special😊

A huge thank you to our amazing Journey Delacombe families for your incredible support!

Together, we raised $407.70 through our Golden Nugget Pie Drive to support two of our firefighters, who are also part of our Journey family as they prepare to take on the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb this September👩‍🚒🧑‍🚒

Your generosity will help support an incredible cause and we're so grateful to be part of a community that always comes together to make a difference 🔥

What a wonderful evening celebrating the people who make Journey Delacombe so special.

Your passion, dedication and commitment to our children, families and each other is truly inspiring.

More importantly, the night was about coming together as one team to celebrate us while reflecting on everything we have achieved and the incredible community we have built together.

💛 Our First Ever Journey Delacombe Day 💛

What a special day it was as we celebrated our very first Journey Delacombe Day.

A day dedicated to Our Place, Our Community. Celebrating our people, our connections and everything that makes Journey Delacombe so special.

Our day was filled with joy from beginning to end. Families enjoyed breakfast on us, we shared a delicious roast lunch with our wonderful friends from Bupa, our children enjoyed a sausage sizzle and sweet treats and most importantly we came together as one community to celebrate the relationships that make our service feel like home.

Thank you to every child, family, educator and community member who is part of the Journey Delacombe story.

🍓🪨CLEVER GARDENERS🍓🪨

The children in Toddler 1 have been busy painting rock strawberries to help protect our veggie garden from hungry birds 🐦

The idea is simple, by placing the painted rocks in the garden before the real strawberries ripen, birds may peck the hard rocks, realise they aren’t tasty and be less likely to return for our delicious fruit and vegetables🌱

A fun, creative experience that combines art, nature and a little bit of garden science❤️
