Today we made our own glue for some leaf collages🌿it’s super easy and lots of fun! All you need is some flour and water, mix it all together then go on an adventure to find some pretty leaves and flowers🌸🍃

Did you know we all have hidden superpowers? To us they are known as our senses. Magic potion making is a perfect way to learn through nature, as it involves and stimulates all senses🍃and you also get to create a magic potion for any spell you want!

With societies disconnection with how our food gets from plant to plate it is important to connect back to Grass Roots. Learning about plants, nature and gardening from the absolute begining.... It all starts with a tiny little seed. 🌿

About us: for those of you who don’t know behind Saplings is a collective group of people. We are Bonnie and Sashi we are educators that have both worked in public school education and alternative education. With our experience in education we’ve seen gaps in the system so together we are working to bring you something a little bit different which is Saplings; a space we provide for children to develop skills and build their knowledge through nature play/hands on learning. We believe learning should be gentle on the environment that’s why all the activities we provide will be toxic free and biodegradable: environmentally friendly as nature is our teacher and we want to look after her.
