ENHANCING TEACHER SKILLS
Recently Danae Napier (Deputy Principal: Catholic Identity, Learning and Teaching) and Steve Hicks (Principal) attended a professional learning opportunity with the founders and facilitators of STEPLAB.
We have been using the StepLab portal, training videos, content and approaches, along with our engagement with The Knowledge Society to continually enhance our teaching knowledge, skills and practices in support of improving the learning, development and growth of our students.
We are excited to join with primary schools and colleges across Catholic Education Sandhurst Ltd in this system-wide investment in support of our students and Staff Team.

FOCUS ON WELLBEING
Recently our Staff Team joined school personnel from all CESL primary schools and colleges for a professional learning day focussed on wellbeing and safeguarding.
We gathered at our parish sister school St Anne's College, Kialla which also provided an opportunity to mix with St Anne's colleagues and tour their facilities.
A focus on the Positive Psychology and Positive Education was a key feature of the day's learning.
We look forward to implementing Positive Education into our wellbeing approaches from the start of next year.
