🎶 Junior School Dance Festival Reminder 🎶

A reminder that our Junior School Dance Festival is TOMORROW

📅 Date: Thursday 18 June
⏰ Time: Please meet at 9:00am for a 9:15am start
📍 Location: Undercover Basketball Court

Our junior students have been working hard in their Performing Arts classes learning traditional dances, and we are excited to share their performances with you.

👗 Dress: Students may wear a dance costume/casual clothes, or they may come dressed in their school uniform.
Some fun examples have been
-tracksuits (hip hop style)
-jeans and flanelette shirt (line dancing style)
-pants and a colourful shirt.
*these are just ideas and NOT compulsory.

They DO NOT need multiple costumes. One outfit for the entire day.

Please do not feel the need to buy anything new. Something the children have at home is perfectly fine.
School uniform is also completely acceptable.

We look forward to seeing you there for a wonderful morning of music and dance!

What an outstanding achievement for Edi Hicks!

Edi has been selected in the Stage 3 Victorian State Squad (Top 30) for both Basketball and Netball – a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her talent, dedication and hard work across two sports. Edi will now attend the Victorian State trials over the coming month, competing alongside some of the state's best young athletes.

Adding to an already incredible year, Edi also qualified for the Victorian State Cross Country Championships at today's event in Benalla.

To achieve state-level recognition in three different sporting pathways is an exceptional feat. We are incredibly proud of Edi and wish her every success in the upcoming trials as she continues to represent Bourchier Street Primary School with pride, determination and sportsmanship.
