My Name is Trudy Lloyd the Director and Owner of Poka Dot Kids. We have been up and operating since January 2013 and loving every minute of our fun filled days. I am a fully qualified childhood educator with over 30 years experience in child care. I have owned and operated my own centre’s previously. I have 9 children of my own. OUR CENTRES

ildren aged from 0 to 5 years of age. All meals are included. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6.00pm. We have 4 family based centres in the Illawarra area. They are small personal and involve the whole family in the children’s learning.

PROGRAMS-
Educational program and school readiness. We follow the Reggio Emilio Approach where we encourage children to become emergent learners through play. Our Educators are respectful of individual differences, interests, styles and rates of learning. We encourage children’s independence and aim to increase their awareness of the community and people around them. Our educators are here to support you and your child. Our commitment is to provide you with regular feedback during the year on your child’s strengths and any areas that need development. This feedback will be both formal and informal.
