Our little learners had so much fun discovering new books, favourite characters and imaginative worlds throughout the week. Through stories, sensory experiences and creative activities, the children explored language, ideas and imagination while developing a growing love for reading. 💛

🌿 Building belonging and confidence in our new space

Our little learners have been settling into our Blaxland environment through calming play experiences, familiar routines and meaningful opportunities to connect. Through exploring stories, emotions, and sensory materials, the children were encouraged to build confidence, feel safe and develop their sense of belonging.

These experiences are such an important part of early learning, supporting emotional regulation, language development, social connection and independence as children begin to understand their feelings and the world around them.

Our little learners had so much fun mixing, scooping and creating their own pretend ice creams. Through this hands-on sensory experience, the children explored colours, textures and imaginative play while building fine motor skills, confidence and social connection. ✨

🌧️ Finding joy in rainy day play

At Kreation Kidz, our little learners made the most of the wet weather with a fun rainy day play experience. From splashing in gumboots to exploring the outdoors in their raincoats, the children were encouraged to move, observe and connect with nature in a hands-on way.

Rainy day play is such a valuable part of early learning, supporting curiosity, sensory exploration, confidence and gross motor development as children discover the world around them in all kinds of weather.

🐛 Exploring, counting and creating through sensory play

Our little learners enjoyed a Hungry Caterpillar sensory tray filled with colours, textures and hands-on discovery. Through sorting, matching and exploring, the children were encouraged to build their fine motor skills, curiosity and early numeracy in a playful way.

Sensory trays are such a meaningful part of early learning, supporting focus, problem-solving, language development and confidence as children investigate the world around them.
