Thank you to our students, staff, families and community for another productive and successful term at SIS. We hope you all enjoy your well-deserved spring break!
🏅SIS Athletics Carnival 2026! This Thursday 24 September is our annual Athletics Carnival. We hope you can all join us at Jim Ring Reserve, from 9:30am - 1:00pm for all of the races, field events and fun to be had! Don’t forget to wear your sports shoes and your house team colours!

🐶 Responsible Pet Ownership Program. On Wednesday 23 September, all students P-2 will be participating in the responsible pet ownership program, which is a free incursion visiting our school. This program teaches important lessons about pet safety and responsible dog ownership!
🧠 Personalised Learning Goals Workshops are concluding this week! Join our classroom teachers to learn ways you can help with your child’s current literacy and numeracy goals at home.
⚽️ After School Sport concludes for another term! This runs from 3:00pm to 4:15pm on a Monday or Thursday afternoon. Don’t forget to pack some extra fruit to snack on before the sporting activities begin. 🍎🍓🍌
🤸 Gymnastics also finishes up this week! Thank you to our amazing friends from Fit Futures for returning to Sefton Infants School every Wednesday, as a part of our Wednesday sport program. These talented gymnasts have been guiding us through some very fun and active gymnastics movements that have allowed us to develop a broad range of skills in a fun learning environment!
🥞Breakfast club! If you arrive at school between 8:30am and 8:50am on Mondays & Fridays, you can treat yourself to a delicious breakfast. This is a perfect way to fuel your brains for a day full of learning. 🧠
📚Book club runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library from 8:40am.
🛝 Playgroup is happening every Friday from 9:30-11:00am.
