⭐️ TERM 3, WEEK 6 ⭐️

🗓️ THIS WEEK AT SEFTON INFANTS SCHOOL! 🗓️

🚓 Police Incursion! This Monday 24 August a Youth Officer from Bankstown Police Area Command will be visiting our K-2 students to share the routines of their role and some information about their police vehicle!

📚 Chester Hill Library & Knowledge Centre visits continue this week! As part of our 2026 Book Week celebrations, all classes will have a turn visiting Chester Hill library to participate in literature activities delivered by the children’s librarians at our local library.

⚽️ After School Sport continues! This runs from 3:00pm to 4:15pm on a Monday or Thursday afternoon. Don’t forget to pack some extra fruit to snack on before the sporting activities begin. 🍎🍓🍌

🤸 Gymnastics continues! Our amazing friends from Fit Futures will return to Sefton Infants School, every Wednesday until the end of this term! As a part of our Wednesday sport program, these talented gymnasts will be guiding us through some very fun and active gymnastics movements that will allow us to develop a broad range of skills in a fun learning environment!

🥞Breakfast club! If you arrive at school between 8:30am and 8:50am on Mondays & Fridays, you can treat yourself to a delicious breakfast. This is a perfect way to fuel your brains for a day full of learning. 🧠

📚Book club runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library from 8:40am.

🛝 Playgroup is happening every Friday from 9:30-11:00am.

All you have to do to be the winner of this FREE ice block/popcorn voucher, for our Friday recess treat, is to come to school EVERY DAY - 100% of the time! 💯

⭐️ TERM 3, WEEK 3 ⭐️

🗓️ THIS WEEK AT SEFTON INFANTS SCHOOL! 🗓️

🦒 SYDNEY ZOO! The excursion date to Sydney Zoo is nearly here! Our students are very excited for the learning adventures that they will be experiencing when we visit Sydney Zoo on Tuesday 4 August 2026. Please ensure your child arrives at school by 8:30am on this date in order to be on time for the departing coach. A big thank you to Ms Dulaurens for all her excellent organisation of this excursion.

⚽️ After School Sport returns for another Term! Students would have received their letters last week, outlining their allocated afternoon. This runs from 3:00pm to 4:15pm on a Monday or Thursday afternoon. Don’t forget to pack some extra fruit to snack on before the sporting activities begin. 🍎🍓🍌

🚧 We wanted to alert our school community of local construction work which may impact on traffic and parking near Sefton Infants School. Demolition of three houses and subsequent construction of an aged care facility will be taking place opposite the school on Rodd Street, commencing Monday 3 August. A reminder that alternative access to Sefton Infants School is available during school drop off and pick up times via the school gate on View St.
