SOUTHERN TIGERS BOYS DISTRICT EXTERNAL TRIALS

Our boys Junior & Youth District External Trials are this Sunday!

These trials are for new players wishing to join Southern Tigers for the 2026/27 district season.

Please note there have been a couple of time changes, double check your child's age group trial time below!

U12 Boys | 8:30am – 10:00am
U14 Boys | 10:30am – 12:00pm
U16 Boys | 12:00pm – 1:30pm (updated)
U18 Boys | 4:30pm – 6:00pm (updated)
U21 Men (Combined Trial) | 6:00pm – 7:30pm (updated)

Note: Current Southern Tigers District and Domestic players are not required to attend these trials and will participate in our Internal Trial Process.

Seaford Secondary College is proud to showcase the incredible talents of our students!

We are excited to share these artworks created by students across Years 7-12, which have been entered into various categories of the Junior Art and Craft Competition at the Royal Adelaide Show.

Their creativity, skill and dedication are on full display, and we are incredibly proud of each student who has submitted an entry.

The artworks will be judged and will also be on display in the Jubilee Pavilion at this year's Royal Adelaide Show, giving visitors the opportunity to admire the amazing work of young artists from across South Australia.

Course Counselling and Subject Selection for 2027

Bookings are now open and filling fast for all Year 10 and Year 11 families.

Course Counselling for students in Year 10 and 11 is on Wednesday 26 August from 12:00pm – 7:00pm. This is the time for students to finalise their subject selections and submit their choices for 2027.

All lessons will be cancelled for Year 10 and 11 students that day. Students will only need to attend school for their scheduled course counselling appointment.

All bookings will be made via Daymap.

Celebrating Our Principals!

While Australian Principals Day was officially celebrated on Friday 7 August, our Leadership Team was attending a valuable professional development day, so Seaford Secondary College marked the occasion on Monday 10 August.

Our students took the opportunity to show their appreciation by writing thoughtful celebration cards for Harry and Tom, thanking them for their leadership, dedication and commitment to our school community.

Paige - "Thank you for supporting our school and supporting us students."
Marley - "Thank you for being a good leader."
Nevaeh - "Thank you for all the time, effort, and consideration you put into our school. You are thought more than you know."

Staff also joined in the celebration, enjoying some delicious donuts from Becks Bakery Port Noarlunga.

A big thank you to Harry and Tom for the work you do every day to support our students, staff and families. Your leadership helps make Seaford Secondary College a wonderful place to learn and grow.
