Did you know that tomorrow is the International Day of Maths (3.14). We have attached a couple of maths scavenger hunts to this post in case you would like to celebrate the day at home tomorrow! Would love to hear how you go.

Wow! So many reading milestones celebrated this week. Thank you to everyone who is reading with and to their children!

Here's a look at what's happening in Weeks 8 and 9 at MPS.

Unfortunately, our coffee van has cancelled on us for Sports Day. If you know if any coffee vans that might be available, please let us know and we will contact them.

We are looking for a Canteen Manager for 2026. This is a paid position of 15 hours, Monday to Friday. Does this sound like the perfect opportunity for you? If so please contact our Governing Council on [email protected] by Monday October 27 and tell us about yourself!

Spread the word and encourage your friends and family to come along to Moana Primary School on Saturday where they can vote and enjoy a sausage sizzle and donut. Cold drinks available and coffee van onsite.

Election Day BBQ

As you may be aware Moana Primary School will be hosting an Election Day BBQ fundraiser on Saturday 3rd May. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and contribute to the outdoor spaces our children play in.

To make this event a success, we are seeking volunteers to help run the BBQ station. Your support would be greatly appreciated, whether you can assist for an hour or the entire event. Tasks will include grilling, serving, and helping with setup and clean-up.

School Value Surfboards – We would like to announce that our PBL School Values display has been completed. We would like to do a shoutout and thank you to the families that donated the surfboards and to Ms Rowsell and Aaron for all the time and effort they put into creating this display, we really appreciate it. Please come and have a look at this wonderful display on our Library wall. Nicole True, Student Wellbeing Leader
