Sandgate Playgroup

Sandgate Playgroup We are a volunteer led friendly, relaxed community playgroup and welcome children from birth through to school. We hope to see you there!

We run every Thursday 9:30-11am during the school term. $5 per family (cash or card). Sandgate Playtime Playgroup is an all inclusive community group which meets every Thursday (unless specified). We are a very relaxed community playgroup and welcome children from birth through to school age (year round). We have a regular venue at The Girl Guides Hall, 55 Burnett Place, Sandgate, Queensland, 4017. The group is run by the parent volunteers who attend the group and provide general play, craft activities and various events throughout the year.

🌸 SPRINGTIME 🌸

Goodmorning Families,
Tomorrow's session is our last before the holiday break. This week we will have lots of spring time activities for your littleones:

- pretend flower planting
- flower cookie decorating
- flower arts and crafts table
- playdough with fun sensory mix ins
- spring theme tuff trays
And more!

Come join us at 9:30 tomorrow.

$5/family. Please bring snacks and water for your littleones. 😊

AROUND THE WORLD, AROUND THE WORLD🎶

Hello friends,
This term is around the world month🌎

To celebrate some themed activities this week will consist of:
Rangoli colouring for toddlers
Africa themed tuff tray
Plenty of other sensory activities for your children to explore.

Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow from 9:30am at the scout hall.

FATHERS DAY 💐

Hi everyone tomorrows play group will include, morning tea, card making, rainbow spaghetti, train set and more.

Hello everyone,
In light of book week we would love your little one to come dressed as their favourite character from their favourite book.

We will have 2 books reading Wombat stew and where is the green sheep🐑💚

The activities to celebrate for this will be make some wombat stew and colour the green sheep.

Also we have a book giveaway of Nature Lovers as donated by tracy 😊

VERY SPECIAL BOOK READING TOMORROW ✨🐞

We are very excited and so lucky to have the lovely Tracey Brunetti, a local author who will be coming to do a very special book reading for our playgroup tomorrow.

The beautiful book is called Nature Lover🪲 It takes children on a journey to remind them of the beauty and exploration there is to be had in the beautiful world of Mother Nature.

Come along from 9:30am-11🦆

We have some fun activities planned also:

Feather collage🪶
Flower paintings 💐🌻

LITERACY MONTH ✨📖

Hello friends, welcome to literacy month. This month we are going to incorporate a book reading at the end of our sessions for your little ones. The book of choice this week is I’m a dirty dinosaur by Janeen Brian and Ann James.

This Thursday we will have some great crafting activities, fine motor skills activities to help your little one’s development, sensory and some fun arts and crafts🎨🖌️🪲

When: 9:30am Thursday the 6th of August until 11:00am

Where: Sandgate scout hall

Please note, $5 per family to cover the cost of hall hire and consumables. Please bring a snack and some water for your little ones.

We can’t wait to see you all tomorrow🐞❤️
