Sandgate Playgroup

Hello everyone,
In light of book week we would love your little one to come dressed as their favourite character from their favourite book.

We will have 2 books reading Wombat stew and where is the green sheep🐑💚

The activities to celebrate for this will be make some wombat stew and colour the green sheep.

Also we have a book giveaway of Nature Lovers as donated by tracy 😊

$5 per family, can’t wait to see you 9:30-11am at the scout hall 🫶

VERY SPECIAL BOOK READING TOMORROW ✨🐞

We are very excited and so lucky to have the lovely Tracey Brunetti, a local author who will be coming to do a very special book reading for our playgroup tomorrow.

The beautiful book is called Nature Lover🪲 It takes children on a journey to remind them of the beauty and exploration there is to be had in the beautiful world of Mother Nature.

Come along from 9:30am-11🦆

LITERACY MONTH ✨📖

Hello friends, welcome to literacy month. This month we are going to incorporate a book reading at the end of our sessions for your little ones. The book of choice this week is I’m a dirty dinosaur by Janeen Brian and Ann James.

This Thursday we will have some great crafting activities, fine motor skills activities to help your little one’s development, sensory and some fun arts and crafts🎨🖌️🪲

When: 9:30am Thursday the 6th of August until 11:00am

Where: Sandgate scout hall

Please note, $5 per family to cover the cost of hall hire and consumables. Please bring a snack and some water for your little ones.

We are located directly in front of the court house on the grassed area over looking the lagoon.

Drop in and say hi and let your little ones play, we have been kindly donated a self published book called Nature lover by the beautiful Tracy Brunetti who will be doing a special book reading later on for us🐞 Tracy’s stall is located next door to us if you wish to buy a copy 💕

EINBUNPIN FESTIVAL🎏

Good morning lovely people,
Come and visit our stall at the Einbunpin festival tomorrow the 26th of July from 9am🦆

We will be located in the chill Area (Map below)

This is a amazing opportunity for Sandgate playgroup to hopefully get the word out and share information about our play group to the wider community🫶

We have some lovely play activities ready to go for your little ones and we can’t wait to see some new and familiar faces.

I want to say a massive Thankyou to our lovely facilitator Monique for all her hard work since taking over and her effort to make this all possible, we would be lost without her❤️

We will also have a donation box available if you wish to donate to our playgroup! Every little bit help us keep this little group going.

Todays fun 🫶

HELLO!!! Happy first week back of the school term. To kick start this week on Thursday we are returning for physical month 🏃‍♂️💨 In the mists of the World Cup finals we are doing a soccer theme⚽️

Come along from 9:30 Thursday the 16th for some fun filled activities:
•Balls, hula hoops, skipping ropes, Pom Pom’s (for cheering each other on of course)
•sensory activities
•playdoh

And we also have very exciting news, we will have our very own stall at the Einbumpin festival on Sunday the 26th of July. We would love to get all the kiddies who attend our playgroup to paint there hand prints on our banner for the stall🪬🖖 More information to come soon.
