Our Book Week Parade will be held on Friday 28th August, and we can’t wait to see the wonderful book characters our students bring to life!

🎭 Dress-up reminder: Please dress as a character from a book – not a character from a movie.

📖 Reading with Your Child
Families have the opportunity to read a book with their child during a scheduled Book Week session on Friday.

If you would like to take part, please return the slip that was sent home with your child to let their teacher know that you will be attending.

Growing for Gold – Try a Sport for Free These Holidays

Growing for Gold gives children and young people the opportunity to try a range of different sports for free during the school holidays.
It is a great way to get active, try something new and discover a sport they might enjoy.

Pre-purchase order forms were emailed to families previously. Simply complete the form and send it to school with your child, and we'll organise your order for you.

Every purchase helps us earn valuable new books and resources for our school library while encouraging a love of reading in our students.

What is the Sports Voucher?

The South Australian Government Sports Voucher program helps families reduce the cost of children's sport and recreation activities.

Eligible children can receive two $100 vouchers each calendar year (up to $200 per child) to help pay for registration or membership fees with approved activity providers. The vouchers can be used for a wide range of activities, including:

Sport
Swimming lessons
Dance
Music lessons
Scouts and Guides
Other approved active recreation programs

Who is eligible?
Children who live in South Australia and are enrolled in Reception to Year 9 are eligible for the Sports Voucher program. The vouchers are claimed through a participating provider when registering your child for an eligible activity. Each voucher can only be used once and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another child.

How do I use my voucher?

Choose a participating Sports Voucher provider.
Register your child for an eligible activity.
Let the provider know you would like to use your Sports Voucher.
The provider will apply the voucher to your registration fees, reducing the amount you need to pay.

🎉 Our students had an amazing time at The NED Show! 🎉

Last week, Reception to Year 5 students enjoyed a fun and interactive NED Show Incursion filled with exciting yo-yo tricks, laughter and important life lessons.

Throughout the performance, students learnt about having a growth mindset and the meaning behind NED:
⭐ Never Give Up
⭐ Encourage Others
⭐ Do Your Best

It was wonderful to see our students so engaged as they learnt that mistakes help us grow and that persistence and kindness can make a big difference. 💜🪀

Wednesday 5 August: 8:15am–8:45am and 3:00pm–3:30pm
Thursday 6 August to Tuesday 11 August: 8:15am–8:45am
