Design Technology this term has been a hit!

We have made: structures, monsters, animals, vehicles, tiles, biscuits and so much more.

We have used: mountains of boxes, bundles of plastic containers, rolls upon rolls of masking tape, a variety of glue types, straws, icypole sticks balsa wood, craft supplies, paints and bottle caps. (Thank you to all who donated).

We have learnt: about engineers, technology, inventions, assembly lines, wheels and axles, design processes and planning, trial and error, solving problems and tested our resilience.

We have created, imagined, investigated, learnt, collaborated and smiled a lot.

Sensory development, motor skills, self expression, design tech…we experienced it all with clay at Stratford’s Klei Studio & Co this arvo (oh and donkeys, highland cattle and hail on a tin roof)😊

Airly had a mixed culture day today. Aussie (sports colours with meat pies for lunch) meets Jewish culture - (honey cakes for Rosh Hashanah and thinking about making the next 12 months kinder and sweeter).💗
