Following their remarkable success in 2025, our Senior Debating Team achieved another outstanding result in the prestigious Archdale Debating Competition, finishing Runners-Up in the Grand Final on Tuesday night.
Their achievement reflects months of dedicated preparation, and throughout the competition the girls showcased confidence, authentic engagement and collaboration skills, qualities that will serve them well beyond the debating stage.

A fantastic fortnight for our Athletics team!

Over the past two Fridays, our Athletics team has proudly represented the College at the CGSSSA and IGSA Championships.

With many students achieving personal bests, there were some outstanding individual and team achievements across both carnivals, including:

🏅 Moving up two positions at the IGSA meet, with Division 3 finishing in 3rd place and an improvement in the final combined point score.

🏅 Multiple medals across every year group represented at the CGSSSA Carnival.

🏅 Our first-ever CGSSSA record, with Beatrice (Year 7) smashing the 13 Years 1500m record by an incredible four seconds!

Congratulations to all our students who competed across the two championship events. We are so proud of your commitment, determination and achievements!

We celebrated our Pioneers and Golden Girls Luncheon this week, honouring the women who helped shape what the College is today.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming our newest Golden Girls, the Class of 1976, into the tradition. Our Principal, Mrs Kate Quinane, presented each member of the Class of 1976 with a gold Brigidine Cross pin, a symbol of our heritage and the values of strength and gentleness that ground us every day.

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming students, staff, families and alumni to our 2026 HSC Showcase – an evening celebrating the incredible major works created by our Year 12 students.

From Visual Arts, Textiles and Design, and Design and Technology to English Extension 2, History Extension, Science Extension and Society and Culture, the evening showcased the depth of creativity, research, thinking and passion behind their HSC practical submissions.

It was wonderful to come together as a community to recognise the countless hours of work, dedication and imagination that went into these projects. We also acknowledge and thank the teachers who have supported, encouraged and guided our students throughout this process.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on an outstanding showcase of your talents.

What an achievement for our Year 10 Drama students!

Last week Keira, Alice, Emma, Cordelia and Hannah had the opportunity to perform their outstanding group performance, 'Jack', at the Zenith Theatre in Chatswood as part of NESA’s Practice Marking Program for the 2026 HSC Drama examinations.

The students were selected to participate in the program, gaining valuable insight into the HSC Drama marking process and the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre setting.

Congratulations to our talented Year 10 Drama students on this wonderful achievement and recognition of their creativity, collaboration and performance skills!

The College was awash with yellow yesterday as our students supported Daffodil Day, raising funds for the Cancer Council in support of cancer research and essential services for the many Australians impacted by cancer.

Giving their time and support to this important cause, they showed the power of acting with purpose and responding with compassion. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
