🧪✨Year 3 stepped into the world of science with a seriously cool Fizzics Education incursion!

Students stretched gooey polymers, explored surprising materials, and discovered the fascinating properties of liquids and gases.

The morning finished with an unforgettable liquid nitrogen finale, complete with plenty of excitement and hands-on learning! 🔬❄️

Year 5 enjoyed a session with Talia and Sigal from Kesher, learning about the Negev and hearing firsthand about their incredible work supporting communities in Southern Israel.

Talia and Sigal also spoke about Kesher, an informal online learning program founded after October 7 to support families in Israel. Through the efforts of volunteer teachers from Australia and educators in Southern Israel, Kesher continues to create opportunities for learning and connection.

Thank you to Talia and Sigal for taking the time to visit Year 5 and share more about the work of Kesher. 🇮🇱

From building new friendships and strengthening old ones to exploring Jewish identity through shared experiences, Pathways is all about connection, growth and creating memories together.

It's so special seeing our ELC students engaging with their Year 5 buddies! After spending time playing together, having fun and getting to know one another, they enjoyed lunch side by side in the beautiful sunshine. ☀️🧺

Our Lunch Box Buddy program provides valuable opportunities for friendships to grow, helping our students feel connected, supported, and part of the wider Masada community, as well as support our ELC students as they become familiar with life at Masada ahead of their transition to Kindergarten. 🌱

The Masada College Roots Project is a term-long Year 9 Jewish Life initiative that invites students to explore their family histories through research into their family trees, immigration journeys, and the countries and communities from which their families came.

To conclude the project, students presented family artefacts and shared key insights from their research, offering a personal glimpse into each of the beautiful stories that have shaped their families across generations.

The evening concluded with the presentation of awards, generously sponsored by the United Israel Appeal Australia. Mazal tov to Sonya K, who was named this year's winner and to runners-up Romi K, Jade S, Agam T and Maya W on their outstanding presentations.

A special thank you to UIA representatives Ariel Avner and Phillippa Awerbuch for joining us and supporting this special program.

During this year’s Careers Morning, our Year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to hear from an inspiring panel of alumni and industry professionals who shared their career journeys, experiences, and insights into the many pathways available beyond school.

Representing fields including STEM, Health, Business, Law, the Creative Arts, and active/outdoor careers, our speakers offered valuable advice, real-world experiences, and encouragement as students begin to consider their own futures.

Thank you to all of our guests for generously sharing their time, knowledge, and experiences with the next generation of Masada graduates - Goodness making Greatness in action!

Our Year 10 students recently had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Jewish Exploration Project (JEX), and explore a topic within Judaism that has always interested, inspired, or intrigued them. Through thoughtful research, students created a comprehensive body of work showcasing their knowledge.

Mazal tov to our six JEX participants for their outstanding achievements, and a special congratulations to Lukas S, who was awarded first place! We are incredibly proud of the passion and curiosity demonstrated by all the Year 10 students involved.

A big thank you to the Miller family for generously sponsoring the JEX Prize in memory of their beloved Jeff Miller z"ל. The prize provides recipients with the opportunity to purchase items during their Israel journey on MIT.
