What a fabulous bunch of characters! Our Prep P superstars loved dressing up as some of their favourite book characters and celebrating the magic of reading together.

🖤📚 The Addams Family (aka our Leadership Team) arrived at Biggera Waters State School for our Book Week Parade! 🕷️

Ms Bell, Mrs McMullen, Mr White & Mrs Healy took Book Week VERY seriously this year… and decided to transform into the wonderfully spooky Addams Family! 🕸️🖤

Congratulations to Jayla on her and her team's achievement of winning the U12 South Coast touch football campaign in Bundaberg! The girls went undefeated the entire tournament, scoring 109 tries over 12 games. They won 10-1 in the grand final against Met West.

Recently, these four students competed at the QLD All Schools Oztag Tournament, representing Biggera Waters State School. Following the tournament, players were selected for the QLD Merit Teams, recognising some of the top Year 6 school Oztag players in Queensland.
A massive congratulations to:
⭐ Nate – selected in the QLD Year 6 Boys Merit Team
⭐ Leroy – selected in the QLD Year 6 Boys Merit Team
⭐ Talea – selected as a Shadow Player for the QLD Year 6 Girls Merit Team
⭐ Ryan – selected as a Shadow Player for the QLD Year 6 Boys Merit Team
This is such an exciting achievement for all four students and a wonderful recognition of their performances throughout the tournament.
To have four Biggera Waters students recognised at a Queensland level is something our school community should be incredibly proud of.
