Goodstart Early Learning Liberty Avenue

We are back for round 2!!!

Last year we were absolutely thrilled to raise over $3000 for MS and it blew us away!

Hanna, the bright spark in our team at Goodstart Liberty Avenue, was diagnosed with MS in November 2021. She has a husband, Chadi and 2 small children, Willa (2) and Charbel (4).

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system. It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career. Three out of four people living with MS are women.

We at Liberty Avenue are completing the 10k MS walk in May, to raise money that can allow people living with multiple sclerosis access to vital support services.

Congratulations to Ling for achieving their Full Teachers Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching!

In Victoria, teachers are provisionally registered for 2 years after graduating with their teaching degree. As part of their pathway to becoming a fully registered teacher, they are required to demonstrate that they meet all 7 Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the proficient level.

As you can imagine, much time and effort goes into the development of the necessary skills and knowledge to be considered a ‘proficient’ teacher.

We are very proud of the work you have done, Ling, to achieve your full registration. Our children are only going to benefit from your passion and dedication to quality education. Please join us in congratulating Ling!

Before the school year ended we were lucky enough to go on an excursion to our local primary school! It was a fantastic way for our Kinder children to have a real life glimpse of their new journey ahead. At Goodstart we are committed to school readiness 🏫 ✏️

And we’re off to a wonderful start to what is going to be a sensational year at Goodstart Liberty Avenue! Wishing all of you and your families a year full of health and happiness ❤️
