It’s that time of year again where our team gets together to complete their first aid certificate,
While we all have a bit of fun in the process, completing our 3 yearly first aid and yearly CPR updates is an important part of our continued commitment to child safety.
Completeing this training regularly ensures our team have the up to date skills and knowledge to support children’s safety and wellbeing when incidents may occur.

Here at Goodstart Rosanna Bellevue Avenue, we have a Reconciliation Action Plan, a formal strategic framework to advance reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It provides actionable steps to promote cultural safety, economic equity, and historical acceptance. It works on 3 levels: within the classroom, across the service, and in the community, with 3 themes of action: building relationships, respect, and opportunities.
Tomorrow is the beginning of Reconciliation Week (27/5-3/6). This year's theme is "All In". The theme serves as a call to action for all Australians to step away from the side lines, commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day, and take active steps toward meaningful change.
This year, we have registered to "wear it yellow" for Children's Ground. An action to build opportunities in the community for First Nations children. All funds raised will go directly towards delivering self-determination, education, health and employment opportunities for First Nations people. Wear yellow any day from tomorrow until next Wednesday and donate here: https://wearityellow.org.au/goodstart-rosanna-bellvue-ave

Happy Mother’s Day!
Motherhood comes in many forms — tiny humans, fluffy ones, hopeful hearts, and lots of love. Sending hugs and high‑fives to all on this Mother’s Day 💕

Congratulations on 15 years with Goodstart!
Your ongoing support, dedication and commitment to the team and children is unwavering and we wouldn’t be where we are without your knowledge and guidance!
We’re often asked what being not-for-profit really means for our families.
Simply put, it means that our purpose always comes before profit. Every dollar we make is reinvested back into our centres, to provide children with enriching and safe learning environments.
We understand how important it is for children to be in a place where they feel safe and settled. And when families need to make a change - planned or unexpected - we’re here to help make that transition easier.
We’re here to support families when it matters most – because every child deserves a Goodstart! ✨
