What a fantastic day at our CPS Cross Country.
We are incredibly proud of every student who participated. From the first race to the last, all of our runner showed determination, resilience and encouragement. It was wonderful to see everyone giving it a go and supporting one another.
A huge congratulations to all our students and a special congratualtions to our Champion and Runner up boys and girls. We wish them all the very best as they go represent Cooloongup at interschool.
Well done everyone! We are so proud of your efforts. Thankyou also to Mr Mac who organised the entire day and even managed to add our year 1's and 2's for the first time.

Today, our Student Councillors had the fantastic opportunity to visit Safety Bay Senior High School to learn all about leadership in a high school setting.

Throughout the day, our students developed their understanding of what it means to be an effective leader, explored the qualities of positive leadership, and connected with student leaders from Safety Bay SHS. It was inspiring to see them engaging in discussions, asking thoughtful questions, and representing our school with pride and maturity.

A huge thank you to Safety Bay Senior High School for hosting such a valuable and engaging leadership experience. We look forward to seeing our Student Councillors put their new skills and ideas into action back at school!

What's on this week at Cooloongup Primary School.

I absolutely love receiving phone calls from teachers who are so excited and proud of their students! Mrs Butcher invited me to PP2, our P/1 class to have a squizz at some independent sentence writing.
The year 1's persevered and sounded out some long words such as centipede, lady bug, beetle and pollen, writing sentences based on a picture prompt.
The PP's drew a picture about Clever Max, a story which they had read altogether. These students managed to even write a sentence!
Absolute super stars!
