We are expanding our team and looking for some exemplary teachers to become Learning Specialists and work with our Leading Teachers and Assistant Principals to drive instruction in numeracy, literacy and student engagement. We are achieving excellent growth data in our short history and look to improve even further by employing quality teachers who can continue to make a difference to student outcomes. Come and join us as a teacher in 2026! We are looking for enthusiastic experienced and graduate teachers to join our wonderful staff and contribute to providing the best possible experiences for our children. We provide support to teachers in the form of assistance with preparing weekly resources for your class and we plan collaboratively with the assistance of Curriculum Leaders. Our Graduates are supported through a dedicated Graduate check-in and mentor program, with all Grads participating in the Career Start program. Our Leadership Team is highly visible and responsive and there are opportunities for all teachers to grow as leaders and highly skilled practitioners through effective Professional Learning throughout the year. Our Community is wonderful and we have consistently achieved a satisfaction rating of over 85% from our Parent Surveys. Our student data in NAPLAN has shown significant growth in all areas this year and our focus on Wellbeing and Learning is always present. Do you think pineapple belongs on pizza?

Last week I visited the amazing 5/6 students from Thornhill Park Primary School with Milton Dick MP and we voted on that question as part of the Speaker’s Parliament in Schools Program.

This initiative makes civics more accessible by bringing Parliament into schools - without making the trek to Canberra.

Thornhill Park Primary School opened in 2023 and has seen a huge uptick in enrolments - and is growing by the day.

Proud that this wonderful school was the first Victorian school visited by the Speaker for this Parliament.

School returns for all our Year 1 to Year 6 students on Thursday 30th January. Preps will commence on Monday 3rd February. Parents of Prep students need to book a time for their child to meet with their teacher for the English and Maths Online Interviews. Thanks to the 110 plus families who have already booked a time.
