One skill changed not only my career. But my whole life and how I handle it.

Almost a decade ago I joined a lash course impulsively. Because why not 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I didn’t just learn lashes. I learned who I wanted to BE in this life.

When you have a skill under your belt that can create you income and opportunities at any given time or place, you’re never truly stuck. You’re cannot be replaced in something you created yourself.

Why your lash sets probably look “messy” even when your isolation is improving 🫣

Your mapping is fighting against your client’s eye shape.

A lot of beginner artists copy the same lash map onto every client because it looks good on Instagram.

But good lash sets are customised, not copied.

For example:

❌A long cat eye on downturned eyes can drag the eyes downward even more and make the client look tired.

❌Open eye styling on naturally prominent eyes can make the eyes look overly round or surprised.

❌And using dramatic curls on hooded eyes can cause lashes to hit the eyelid and lose direction quickly.

✅The artists whose work looks soft, balanced and expensive usually understand eye styling before they master speed.

When you learn how to map for:
• eye shape
• bone structure
• lash growth direction
• natural lash health

…your sets instantly start looking more professional even without mega volume.

Lashing is not about applying the biggest fans possible.
It’s about creating balance on the face.

9 years in this industry… and I could talk about the wins all day.

But this is the part that actually matters.

The doubt.
The rebuilding.
The seasons where it feels like nothing is working.

I’ve lived all of it. And still am.

And if there’s one thing I know for sure now,
this isn’t about lashes or brows.

It’s about who you become in the process.
