Our children had a wonderful hands-on experience spending time with our Henny Penny chickens!

The children enjoyed gently observing, interacting with, and learning about our feathered friends, building confidence and developing an understanding of how to care for animals with kindness and respect 💛

The children then extended their learning through a creative experience, painting their own versions of a chicken 🎨

They used their imagination and creativity to explore colours, shapes, and details as they represented what they had observed.

It was a lovely opportunity to connect real-life experiences with creative expression, while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning ✨

Today, Miss Jaz set up a buzzing good time for our Pre-Kindy children, celebrating Bee Day through a range of fun and engaging learning experiences! 🌼🐝

We explored the important role bees play in our environment, learned some interesting facts about their life cycle, and discovered how they help our flowers and plants grow 🌻

Our Kindergarten children further extended their learning through a variety of hands-on activities, creative experiences, and conversations, encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and a growing appreciation for the wonderful world around us.

Today, our Kindergarten and Junior Kindy children welcomed the wonderful Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure Program to our service! 🐶💙

Through fun, interactive activities, the children learned valuable child safety skills, including recognising their feelings, understanding body safety, identifying trusted adults, and knowing that it is always okay to speak up if they feel unsafe or worried.

To extend their learning, the children reflected on who they trust most and created their own personal safety networks.

They carefully drew and wrote the names of the trusted adults they know they can turn to for help, reinforcing the important message that they are never alone and that there is always someone who will listen and support them.

We are so proud of the thoughtful discussions the children had throughout the day and the confidence they showed in sharing who helps them feel safe.

Experiences like these empower children with lifelong skills while building their confidence, resilience, and understanding of personal safety ✨

Today, our Kindergarten children enjoyed a wonderful excursion to visit our neighbouring shops!

Before heading downstairs, the children thoughtfully created handmade thank you cards and painted beautiful pictures to express their appreciation for the kindness and support our local community shows us.

These meaningful community connections help children develop a strong sense of belonging, kindness, and respect while building confidence in communicating with others.

Thank you to our wonderful neighbouring businesses for always making our children feel so welcome.

What an exciting day we had at Kindy with a very special visitor, a little turtle!

The children were fascinated as they had the opportunity to observe the turtle up close, ask questions, and learn about its unique features, habitat, and how we can help protect our amazing wildlife.

Experiences like these inspire curiosity, encourage respectful interactions with living things, and create meaningful conversations about caring for our environment.

It was wonderful to see the children's excitement, gentle hands, and thoughtful questions as they connected with nature.

❄️🎄 Christmas in July at Kindy! 🎄❄️

Today, our little learners embraced the magic of Christmas in July with some hands-on, creative fun!

The children loved exploring our sensory snow as they worked together to build their very own snowmen. They scooped, moulded, rolled, and created as they developed their fine motor skills, creativity, and teamwork.

We also got crafty by transforming simple paper cups into beautiful Christmas trees. The children enjoyed decorating their trees with their own unique designs, sparking imagination and celebrating the joy of the festive season.

It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, creativity, and festive cheer. We love creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage exploration, imagination, and plenty of fun!

However, when you look deeper, the children are learning the following: fine motor skills, correction of pincer grip, hand-eye coordination, bilateral coordination, extended concentration, creativity, language development, and much more.
