Maroondah Pre School Maroondah Pre-School has been operating since 1960 and was one of the first pre-schools in the Maroondah area. Our pre-school is a place where everyone belongs!

This term Ngawan 3yo group enjoyed a Teddy Bears Picnic at Donwood Community Aged Care Services Inc for their first visit and we loved dancing with Danny. Biik 4yo group is building meaningful relationships with their regular visits, This week meeting Teddy the joey and a child made a card for a resident.

Term 1 was really exciting as we started fortnightly visits to Donwood Community Aged Care Services Inc. Inside, we are building confidence getting to know the residents. We have enjoyed showing them our favourite songs, dances and stories. It has been joyful to sing together with resident Danny, who plays the guitar! Outside, the children are exploring the garden with binoculars, playing in the tunnel, smelling herbs and climbing on the log frames. Our intergenerational program with Donwood is in its seventh year and the children are always so excited to visit. Our relationship provides rich learning opportunities and strongly links to all five VEYLDF learning outcomes.
