Not many weekends begin with coffee overlooking the stables and end with an Argentine Asado around the fire under the stars. 🐎🔥

Our recent Polo Retreat was everything we love about life at Flat Hill Farm – horses, learning, laughter, great food and wonderful company.

Guests spent two days immersed in the world of polo, from mastering their swing on the wooden horses and practising on foot, through to riding lessons, coaching sessions and practice chukkas. Whether they arrived as complete beginners or experienced riders, everyone embraced the challenge and made incredible progress.

Off the field, guests enjoyed two nights in luxury accommodation, home-cooked meals and the chance to experience life on a working polo farm in the beautiful Hawkesbury.

A huge thank you to our coaches, horses, staff and guests for making the weekend such a success. We loved seeing new friendships form and watching everyone leave with a genuine passion for the game.

Preparing for our first Flat Hill Farm Polo Retreat next weekend 🐎✨

The horses are being selected, the tack is being cleaned, accommodation is being prepared and the Asado menu is coming together as we get ready to welcome our first retreat guests to Flat Hill Farm.

Over three days, guests will enjoy private accommodation on our farm, professional polo instruction, horse care demonstrations, riding lessons, practice chukkas, country hospitality and an unforgettable Argentine Asado under the stars.

Whether you're an experienced rider looking to learn polo or simply curious about one of the world's most exciting equestrian sports, our retreats are designed to provide an authentic behind-the-scenes polo experience in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Our June Retreat is now underway, but bookings are open for our next Polo Retreat in August, along with private polo lessons and horse experiences at Flat Hill Farm.
