I laughed at this but there’s actually a serious point behind the joke.
If you use AI to avoid thinking, avoid learning, and avoid building skills…
then yes you’re training yourself to be replaceable.
But if you use AI to challenge your ideas, refine your work, and learn faster?
That’s building an advantage.
AI isn’t the enemy.
Avoiding skill development is.
The future won’t reward people who let tools do the thinking for them.
It will reward people who know how to think better because of the tools they use.
In 1987, changing to a 4-term school year and removing corporal punishment felt like a massive shift.
At the time, it probably felt disruptive. Controversial. Too fast.
But today? It’s just… normal.

So real that we’re now recruiting teachers from overseas just to meet demand.
Technology will absolutely support education but there are roles where humans will always matter.
Teaching isn’t just about delivering content. It’s about trust, relationships, encouragement, and knowing when a child needs support, confidence, or challenge.
Right now, teachers still build stronger relationships with children than AI or robots ever could. And in roles where care, connection, and social development matter, people will always have a place.
