Maharishi School, Melbourne We are a consciousness-based school that nourishes our students to their full potential. At Maharishi School it is wonderful to know and be known by everyone.

Maharishi School values the individual child for who they are – and has practical programs to develop each student’s full potential. In a small school, you have a much greater chance of maintaining and developing that individuality. There is greater flexibility, things are not always black and white, and students do not “slip through the cracks”. This reflects a true sense of “family”. Maharishi S

chool follows the Victorian Curriculum which is integrated with the schools' philosophy of Consciousness-Based Education, incorporating Transcendental Meditation, and the benefits this provides to each child in all aspects of their development. The Science of Creative Intelligence (SCI) Principles that are incorporated into our teaching and learning programs contribute to a greater depth of understanding for our students and foster a love of learning that values the development of skills and knowledge with an inquiry-based approach.

We were delighted to have Maharishi School featured as a real-life case study in a Marketing Management Case Competition at The University of Melbourne, with postgraduate marketing students developing creative strategies for our school. 🎓💡

A big thank you to Effie from Small Chilli Marketing for making this happen, and to everyone at The University of Melbourne! 😊🙌

It was wonderful to see the fresh ideas and thoughtful perspectives they brought to the challenge — and a great reminder of our unique point of difference and values. ✨

What a wonderful week celebrating our love of books and reading! We had a fantastic Book Week Parade, with students showcasing their creativity and favourite characters. 📖🎭

Our Book Fair was open throughout the week, giving students the chance to browse, discover new books and do a little shopping! 🛍️📚

On Friday, we welcomed our 2027 Prep students and families for a special Taste of Book Week! They enjoyed a book reading with one of our teachers, morning tea and the opportunity to browse the Book Fair. 🌟
