We've been a little quiet on here lately — but for good reason! 🌟
Our days have been filled with what we love most: educating and caring for our beautiful Kindy kids 💛 Behind the scenes, we've also been busy planning our very exciting expansion coming in 2026! 🎉

Last Friday was a special day at Kindy as we welcomed Aunty Cas for a visit as part of our learning during Reconciliation Week. She shared stories about family, connection to Country, and how First Nation people live in harmony with the land. The children loved learning about symbols, the amazing paperbark tree, and expressing their understanding through Aboriginal art and sand play. This rich learning experience supports the EYLF by fostering a strong sense of identity, belonging, and respect for First Nation culture and knowledge.

Big B U D D I E S, Little Learners 🤝🧑‍🎓🎨🧩!
Our Kindy children have been enjoying fortnightly visits from the Grade 4 students from our Primary Campus, building beautiful connections through play, conversation, and shared activities. These special moments support the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) by fostering a strong sense of belonging, identity and wellbeing. S P R I N G has sprung in our beautiful Faith Kindy Plus gardens🌱🌻🌷🪻🌼. The seeds and seedlings planted by the children in May have flourished! We have enjoyed watching and talking about them, and even tasting the edible plants. As part of learning about how we can care for, and protect these plants, the children helped to make our resident Faith Kindy Plus Scarecrow. (Connectedness and Active Learning - QKLG)

We have had some special visitors at Faith Kindy Plus this week to extend on our knowledge of S A F E T Y 🚒🚓🚑. We have been focusing on community services - recognising + managing unsafe situations. To follow on from this, we had the Fire Brigade visit and a performance of the Super Safety Show by Itty Bitty Stars. These collaborative partnerships with community members enhances children's learning and wellbeing. (NQS QA2 + QA6)

W R I T I N G A S O N G 🎶🎵🧑‍🎤with our Head of Primary, Mr Knox. The children had a ball this morning writing a Faith Kindy Plus original song called "God Looks After Us". By sharing ideas about what they know about God, the children informed the lyrics and actions of the song, while Mr Knox created the melody. We love having the opportunity to build these special relationships within our Faith community. (Connectedness, Active Learning + Communicating - QKLG)
