This morning Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company had the privilege of spending time with the Brisbane Broncos as they prepare for this week’s NRL Indigenous Round. 🏉🖤💛❤️

It was an honour to share our culture through song, dance and storytelling, celebrating the world’s oldest living culture and the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Indigenous Round is an important time to recognise the deep connection between sport, culture and community. We thank the Brisbane Broncos players and staff for embracing culture with open hearts and for taking the time to learn, connect and walk alongside First Nations peoples.

Moments like these help strengthen relationships, inspire future generations and remind us that culture is something to be celebrated every day.

Thank you for having us. We wish the Broncos all the very best for Indigenous Round this weekend—we’ll be cheering you on!

In a world filled with challenges, we are committed to creating safe spaces where our young people can reconnect with culture, learn from Elders, strengthen their identity, and be proud of who they are and where they come from.

Through cultural knowledge, dance, language, storytelling, bush tucker, art, and time on Country, we will continue to guide, mentor, and inspire the next generation to become strong leaders for our communities.

Our ancestors carried this knowledge for thousands of years. Now it’s our turn to pass it on.

This is more than a program—it’s a movement to strengthen culture, strengthen families, and strengthen our future.
