A free pilot, for Mid North Coast families.

Most parents have a folder somewhere — assessments, reports, plans — that they've stopped opening.
Not because the information isn't useful. Because nobody ever turned it into something practical to do.
We think that's the gap worth closing.
The NDIS Targeted Intervention Report and Progress Tracker assesses where some ones skills are at, and turns that into clear practice plans — for home, school, community, and support sessions. Plans that everyone on the team can actually pick up and use.
Assess. Target. Track. A practical way to build real life skills that last. Sample report and more information at:

Starting a new school year can feel overwhelming.
New teachers. New classrooms. New meetings to navigate. New explanations about your child's needs. We know it's a lot.

If you're feeling the weight of it all as the school year approaches, you're not alone. And we want to help make things a little easier.
We've put together some free resources that might lighten the load:
✨School Meeting Checklist
✨ Individual Learning Plan templates
✨ Accommodation ideas that work

These are practical tools you can use right away – no jargon, no complexity, just straightforward support to help you think about what might be needed this year and to help with communication between your family and the school.

And if you need more in-depth support, our book Stuck, Not Defiant has sample letters, communication strategies, and detailed guidance for navigating the school system with your neurodivergent child.

Individual sessions for parents are also available via zoom or face to face in Port Macquarie.

After years of clinical work, listening to families, and sitting with people who felt misunderstood by the systems meant to help them, my new book is now released:

What Is Your Neurostyle?
A Practical Framework for Understanding How We Feel, Think, and Connect

Diagnosis can be useful — but it rarely tells us what is actually happening.

Most diagnostic labels describe patterns of behaviour, not the underlying biology, regulation, or lived experience driving them. Diagnostic criteria also change over time, shaped by culture, research priorities, and those writing the manuals.

This book asks a different question.

Instead of “What label fits?”
It asks “How does this nervous system work — and why?”

What Is Your Neurostyle? offers a way to understand ourselves and our children through a biological, evolutionary, and nervous-system-informed lens. It looks beneath behaviour to explore sensory processing, attention, emotional regulation, and connection — the internal systems that shape how we move through the world.

If you’ve ever felt that:
• A diagnosis explained the what but not the why
• Behaviour plans missed the nervous system underneath
• “Trying harder” ignored real biological limits
• You wanted understanding, not just a category

— this book was written for you.

My hope is that it helps shift conversations from
“What’s the diagnosis?”
to
“What is this system responding to?”
