Our Playgroup 'Little Explorers' last term was lots of fun.

The children played in water and muddy puddles, they used wattle branches to paint with for National Wattle Day and added pinecones, gum nuts and leaves to playdough. They made seed balls to grow herbs and flowers at home for spring, constructed Koala masks for Koala month, read stories and played parachute games...

We can't wait to see what they do this term.

Masterchef TNS style.

It is an absolute delight to see what children come up with at The Nature School. These Yr 5 students decided to hold their own Masterchef event at playtime which included pinky taste testing, smelling and judging. They had so much fun and were thrilled for each other's creations.
Playtime the way it's supposed be - creative with a dash of wild. We love it!

Flare/Flair was a fantastic night for our secondary students to come together to share their talents and creativity.

The evening was filled with poetry, individual performances, music, dancing and some truly impressive displays of talent. Our students did an amazing job sharing something that was special to them. Then there was the staff mockumentary... we're not sure whether to applaud the staff for their acting skills or question their decision making! It certainly provided plenty of laughs.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped Flare/Flair to be such a fun and memorable event. Most importantly, well done to our students for getting involved and putting their own stamp on this much loved event. We are so proud of you!

For their final Field Studies Day of Term 3, our Stage 4 students took their learning to Hat Head.

Through a series of field sketches, students captured observations of the waterway from the beach and headland, combining careful observation with creativity in nature.

Thanks to those students who volunteered to help cook the sausage sizzle for lunch, yummo!

Sea turtles, whales and local wildlife were in abundance when Stage 2 visited South West Rocks for their fortnightly Adventure Day.

Nancy and Aunty Sheryl taught us language and dance from Dunghutti Country, before Year 3 travelled to Smokey Cape Lighthouse and Year 4 toured the historic Trial Bay Gaol. What a great day of learning!
