At Dronestar, we take CASA compliance seriously.
Anyone looking to obtain a RePL should understand the requirements CASA places on approved training providers. Be cautious of organisations offering fully self-paced RePL theory.
CASA-approved initial RePL theory training must:
• Be delivered under an authorised ReOC
• Be overseen by a CASA-approved Chief RePL Instructor
• Include at least 15 hours of live instructor contact
• Be delivered face-to-face or live online with real-time audio and video
• Use approved exams and knowledge-deficiency remediation
• Follow CASA-accepted training procedures
Self-paced courses, prerecorded videos and recorded webinars may support the training, but they cannot replace the mandatory live instructor contact hours.
