This week was a very special milestone for Kennedy Kids as we celebrated 5 years since we opened our doors! 🎉💙

Thank you to all the families who choose us, and who have chosen us, to be a part of your child’s journey. It’s something truly special as an educator to watch your little ones grow, learn, discover who they are, and create memories and friendships along the way. 🥰

We are so incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted us with their most precious little people over the past five years. Your support, love and belief in Kennedy Kids means more than you know.

Here’s to 5 wonderful years of learning, laughter, love and memories — and to many more to come! 💙✨

On Friday, we had an exciting visit from Medusa Reptile Services as part of our school holiday incursions—and what a reptile-filled day it was! 🐍🦎✨

The visit also linked beautifully with World Snake Day, giving the children the perfect opportunity to get up close and learn all about these amazing creatures. The children were able to have a gentle pat and even hold the reptiles if they felt comfortable. There were lots of curious questions, excited faces and plenty of engagement throughout the visit! 🤩

The children learnt all about how to safely hold the reptiles and even discovered the correct way to pat them. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that the children thoroughly enjoyed! 🐍💚

📢 Great News for Families!

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is increasing from the 6th July 2026!

To help families keep up with the rising cost of living, the Australian Government has increased the CCS hourly rate caps and family income thresholds in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).

What does this mean for your family?

✅ Many families may receive a higher CCS payment.
✅ Your out-of-pocket childcare costs could be reduced, depending on your family’s circumstances.
✅ If you’re already receiving CCS, these changes will generally be applied automatically from 6 July 2026.

We encourage all families to:
✔️ Log into your myGov account and ensure your family income estimate is up to date.
✔️ Review your CCS details to make sure your information is accurate.
✔️ Check how these changes may affect your family’s subsidy entitlement.

Today turned out to be an incredible day! Our mini market open day welcomed several small businesses, boasting a plethora of entertaining activities like reptile handling, face painting, cuddly plushies, household goods, photography, and messy mat trays. Children revelled in the various activities and many were overjoyed running around with fairy wings and plushies. The face paints were beautifully done as well. ✨

Thank you to all that came down and the businesses for joining us, we enjoyed our Sunday event ❤️
