Hi everyone,
Just a friendly reminder that it is the first get together of the Poowong Pre-school parent group tomorrow night- Wed 8th March. At kinder.
All welcome to come along for a chat about some fundraising ideas and just to meet some other kinder parents.
Lauren is leading the meeting and would like hear your ideas and facilitate a friendly get together.
It would be great if any interested parents can come along.

We have planned a working bee at kinder tonight from 5.00 until 7.00 . Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to come along. Bring along your tools for gardening and maintenance and we can work together to make the kinder yard lovely for the children.
A sausage sizzle will help to energise us and hopefully there will be opportunities to meet some other families and have a social chat.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

For those of you who don't know we are lucky to have the Aus animal show come for a visit next week. This is a great experience for the children as they learn a little bit more about Australian animals and their habitats.
If you have not yet filled out a permission slip for your child to attend could you please collect one from the kinder and fill it out.

Hi again everyone. For those of you don’t already know our hot cross bun fundraiser was cancelled due to issues with delivery. If you placed an order you are welcome to come in to kinder and get a refund or we will refund when you come back to kinder. Please ring the kinder if you have any questions.

Hello everyone, well unfortunately our kindergarten sessions have been cancelled for the remainder of the term and until further notice. I only received notification later this afternoon. Hopefully we are able to resume after the holidays.

This is really sad but necessary to keep everyone safe in our kindergarten and wider community. We all now need to be responsible and practice social distancing and good hygiene to protect ourselves and others.
We will still be working as a staff to prepare for the future and different times ahead. You never know we may all grow and become very creative in how we interact and keep ourselves active and learning in this difficult time.
On behalf of the Poowong teaching team we wish you all well and are looking forward to us all safely returning to kinder.
